Mentor Salaries

Mentors and Teacher Salaries

  1. Mentor Salaries
Students are paid once they turn 16 so they can dedicate their time to increasing their education and skills, rather than needing to work another job to support transportation and independence.

  2. Second-Year Student Scholarships
Several students each year attend at reduced tuition if their families cannot cover the required riding lessons or program tuition. We cannot sustain the program for these students without additional support.

  3. Administrative Assistant Salary
Currently, our founder is performing most administrative responsibilities without taking a salary. We do not have any paid administrative staff, and with additional students, teaching responsibilities, and future growth goals, we cannot continue operating solely with a volunteer workforce.

  4. Instructor Salary
For this program to grow, we must hire an additional instructor, as our founder is currently balancing both teaching and administrative responsibilities.

Computers and Recording Equipment

Camera/Computers/Equipment

  1. Computers and Recording Equipment
We are currently using personal laptops for program operations and iPhones for recording videos, training materials, and social media content. Updated technology and equipment are needed to support educational content creation and daily program operations.

  2. Supplies and Teaching Aids
Because students are learning equine healthcare and the daily operation of a stable, we need additional hands-on materials such as vet wrap, duct tape, cotton, liniment, various bedding types, and other barn and medical supplies to support practical learning experiences.

Travel Expenses for Internship Training Experiences

Travel

  1. Travel Expenses for Internship Training Experiences
We are planning field trips, clinics, and off-property training experiences with top professionals in the industry. Transportation costs, including van rentals and fuel, are necessary to provide students with these educational opportunities.

  1. Horse and Facility Leases for Training Purposes
We are currently relying heavily on our founder’s horses and facility for training. As the program grows, we will need to lease additional horses and training facilities to provide students with the practical education and experiences promoted by the program.

Printing and Promotional Materials

Printing

  1. Printing and Promotional Materials
We hope to continue expanding local awareness through schools, businesses, career fairs, community events, and meet-and-greets. Funding is needed for brochures, informational packets, banners, signage, and other printed outreach materials.
